In 1990, Keizo Funatsu was part of a team that used dog sleds to explore one of the coldest places on Earth - Antarctica. The team had stopped to set up camp for the night when Keizo left his tent to feed the dogs. Suddenly, swirling snow and wind began to pound Keizo's face. A blizzard made it impossible to see, and Keizo soon lost sight of the camp. As the snow piled up around him, Keizo's heart began to sink. He was lost in Antarctica!
