The name Confucius has come down to us today from the distant past. Although he lived thousands of years ago, in a place and time before any type of mass media and/or communications existed much beyond that of the spoken word, the wisdom of Confucius has survived over the centuries. His sayings and philosophy are still widely practiced today - a remarkable achievement for someone who exists primarily in the dusty pages of history books.
