North Korea guards many secrets behind barbed wire and well-armed soldiers. This mountainous country - once known to its people as the Land of the Morning Calm - today is anything but calm. The Kim family of ruthless dictators has ruled North Korea since the Korean War more than 60 years ago. Today its citizens live without electricity, food, or freedom. One minute Marshal Kim Jong-un threatens nuclear war against the world; the next, he vows to open up his beautiful country as a tourist attraction. Those who dare to visit the gleaming monuments and museums, theaters and opera houses of the capital city of Pyongyang, all attended by crisply uniformed workers, can't help but wonder - what is it like in the North Korea that you aren't allowed to see?
