Soldering is a method of connecting components in a strong yet reversible way.
Soldering is a little like welding. Welding is the process of melting two or more pieces of metal together. The melted metal hardens as it cools. This makes for a strong connection that will last a long time. Car bodies are welded. So are the beams that support skyscrapers. It is hard to take something apart once it has been welded.
