Dinosaur Dig: Dinosaur Food

Some dinosaur hunters were fairly small. They lived by hunting animals that were smaller than themselves. Some early dinosaurs, such as Coelophysis (see-low-fye-sis), hunted lizards and other small animals, including mammals and amphibians. Dinosaurs were a very successful group of animals. They soon took over from other types of reptile that had ruled the Earth up until the Triassic Period.
