Insects are a group of animals which include bees, butterflies, ants and beetles. All insects have six legs and a body in three parts. The sections of an insect's body are called the head, thorax and abdomen. Insects have a pair of 'feelers', called antennae, on their heads. Insects use their antennae to smell, touch and find out what is going on around them.
