In only 80 years, we've gone from a television made of wooden boxes and biscuit tins to ultra-slim plasma screens that remember to record your favourite programmes!
Without the television...where would we be?
Good question! On the plus side, we would spend more time talking to our family and friends, but we wouldn't be able to instantly find out what is going on in the rest of the world, or see amazing creatures in their natural habitat.
